IT-Support

We deliver fast, secure, and cost-effective Linux services tailored for small businesses in Finland. From system deployment and SUSE configurations to proactive maintenance, we ensure your IT runs smoothly – without unnecessary software bloat or expensive license fees.

Purpose-built IT support for small businesses

You don’t need your own IT department. Just fast, reliable systems.

As a smaller business, you need an IT environment that runs quietly in the background – without requiring a full-time system administrator or draining your monthly budget. We act as your external IT team, delivering enterprise-class stability customized to your actual size, workflows, and budget.

How we help small businesses grow and succeed

  • No wasted license fees
We replace expensive license subscriptions with open, rock-solid Linux technology. This means you only pay for the initial setup and ongoing support – instead of continuous licensing fees.
  • Hassle-free maintenance
We manage software updates, security patches, and system checks outside your business hours, ensuring your team experiences zero interruptions during the workday.
  • Sensible hardware lifespans
Linux runs smoothly on existing hardware. We help you extend the lifespan of your current servers and workstations instead of forcing expensive hardware upgrades.
  • Simple and secure remote access
We build clean, secure solutions so your team can confidently access files, servers, and business tools wherever they are – whether in the office or on the move.
  • Direct support when you need it
No call centers or complex ticket queues. When something needs attention, you speak directly with a technician who knows your infrastructure inside out.

“You don’t need a massive IT budget to achieve rock-solid reliability – just a well-thought-out open-source strategy.”

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is a fixed MSP model better than just paying per hour when something breaks (Break-Fix)?
Calling an IT technician only when something has already broken – known as Break-Fix – might seem cheap at first glance since you avoid a monthly fee. In practice, however, it brings significant risks and hidden costs to your business.
Here are the four biggest downsides to the traditional “patch and mend” model, and why our MSP approach is safer for you:
  • It gets expensive when disaster strikes: With an hourly model, your IT costs are completely unpredictable. If a server crashes or you are hit by a virus, it can lead to a massive, unexpected invoice that ruins your monthly budget.
  • Long and costly downtime: In a Break-Fix model, problems are only discovered when something stops working, meaning your employees cannot work in the meantime. Since you don’t have an agreement with guaranteed response times (SLA), you also risk getting stuck in a queue.
  • Reactive instead of proactive: An hourly technician makes money when your systems are broken. We as an MSP make money when your systems always work. That’s why we monitor your environment 24/7 and fix vulnerabilities before they cause harm.
  • Security risks: Without continuous maintenance, critical security updates and backup checks are often missed. Many companies unfortunately discover that their backup hasn’t worked for months only after a crash or cyberattack is already a fact.
Summary: Break-Fix means you pay to manage catastrophes. With us as your MSP, you pay for a stable, secure, and predictable IT environment where catastrophes are prevented in the first place.
Why don’t you sell consumer equipment to businesses, and can you help us install it if we buy it ourselves?
We exclusively sell enterprise and business-class hardware. This isn’t because we want to be difficult, but because hardware made for home users simply doesn’t hold up in a professional business environment.
Here is why we don’t sell consumer gear:
  • Security gaps: Consumer equipment (like home routers and cheaper laptops) often lacks the advanced encryption, firewalls, and centralized management systems required to protect corporate data and comply with GDPR.
  • Shorter lifespans and poorer warranties: Enterprise devices are built to run 24/7 and often come with 3–5 years next-business-day on-site warranties. Consumer products usually have short warranties where you have to mail the item in and wait weeks for a repair.
  • Performance and stability: A home router cannot handle 30 employees zooming and sharing files simultaneously. It leads to sluggish networks and frustrated staff.
But yes – we can help with configuration and installation! If you have already purchased consumer equipment, or choose to buy it yourselves for budget reasons, we are happy to help you install and configure it as securely and optimally as possible. Please note, however, that in these cases we cannot grant the same operational guarantees, and future troubleshooting may take longer as the equipment lacks the remote monitoring tools built into enterprise gear.
Can you take over full responsibility for our current IT environment?
Yes, that is exactly what we specialize in. As your Managed Service Provider (MSP), we step in and take full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, security, and support of your existing IT environment – whether you run Windows, macOS, Linux, or a mixed environment.
Handing over full responsibility to us happens in three secure steps to ensure your daily operations are never disrupted:
  1. Initial Assessment (Audit): We begin with a thorough review of your current systems, networks, licenses, and security routines to identify vulnerabilities and optimization areas.
  2. Seamless Transition (Onboarding): We take over operations and deploy our monitoring and security tools in the background. Our goal is for the transition to happen with zero downtime for your employees.
  3. Proactive Management & Support: Once we take responsibility, you stop playing firefighter with IT issues. We monitor your systems 24/7, install updates, manage backups, and resolve issues before they affect your business. If your team needs help, our support is just a call or click away.
By giving us full responsibility, you get a scalable, secure, and predictable IT environment for a fixed monthly cost – and your own dedicated IT department that is always available.

Do you offer remote support?

Yes, we support Windows, macOS, and Linux remotely.

Can I use Linux as a desktop operating system?
Yes, absolutely! Linux has matured tremendously and is today a fantastic, modern, and completely free alternative to Windows and macOS for regular computer users. You no longer need to be a programmer or write code to use it – modern versions of Linux feature sleek, intuitive desktops that anyone can easily understand.
Here is what you can expect running Linux on your desktop:
  • Smooth interface: Distributions like Linux Mint or Ubuntu closely resemble Windows or Mac, making you feel right at home from day one.
  • The apps you need: Web browsers (Chrome, Firefox), Spotify, and VLC work exactly as usual. Office suites like LibreOffice are included for free, and cloud services like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace run seamlessly right inside the browser.
  • High security and privacy: Linux is renowned for being extremely secure against viruses. Additionally, you avoid built-in ads, forced updates, and data collection.
  • Lightning-fast performance: Linux is highly resource-efficient. It can often breathe new life and speed into older computers that have started to slow down.
Keep in mind: If you are entirely dependent on specific local software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Premiere Pro) or certain niche Windows-based ERP systems, you should first check if suitable web versions or alternatives exist, as those specific vendors do not offer direct installations for Linux.
Why do you market products and services outside the EU when your focus is on European solutions?
Our primary goal and passion is to highlight and support European products and services. At the same time, we want to be completely realistic and transparent with you as a user.
In today’s interconnected world, it is practically impossible to build a complete, modern infrastructure or offer a full-scale portfolio without including global players. We include products and services from outside the EU for three simple reasons:
  • Technical necessities: Certain global standards, hardware components, and cloud technologies currently have no equivalent European alternatives.
  • Functionality and quality: Our promise to you is to deliver the best possible experience. If a specific solution outside the EU is significantly better or more secure than what is available in Europe, we choose it to avoid compromising on quality.
  • Global integration: Many of our European partners depend on global tools to operate in the market in the first place.
By keeping our feet on the ground and combining our European focus with the best global tools, we can deliver a solution that is local at heart but thoroughly competitive in practice.
Do you offer backups for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Yes, we offer this as a fully managed service. Many people believe that Microsoft and Google automatically back up all cloud data, but their responsibility primarily limits them to keeping the service itself up and running. If an employee accidentally deletes vital files, or if you are hit by ransomware, restoring that information is up to you.
With our managed cloud backup service, you can rest easy. We secure all your data in the background:
  • What’s included: We take continuous copies of everything in emails, calendars, contacts, OneDrive/Google Drive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Fully managed service: You don’t have to check if the backup is running. We handle the monitoring, verify data integrity, and proactively resolve any error reports.
  • Fast restoration: If an accident happens or a folder is mistakenly wiped, just contact our support, and we will restore the correct files or entire accounts within minutes.
By letting us handle your cloud backup, you protect your company against data loss, human error, and cyber threats while meeting legal compliance requirements for data security.
What geographic area do you cover?
Thanks to modern remote support and cloud management tools, we can assist businesses nationwide and internationally.
To provide the best possible service, we divide our work into two parts:
  • Remote Support (Anywhere): The vast majority of our daily IT work – such as monitoring, security updates, backup verifications, and standard helpdesk support for your employees – takes place entirely digitally over distance. This means it doesn’t matter where your offices or remote workers are located; help is always just a click away.
  • On-site Physical Visits: If you need help with hardware that requires physical handling (such as installing network cables, access points, or configuring new workstations), we provide on-site visits. We are based in Vörå and primarily cover Vaasa and the surrounding Ostrobothnia region for both planned and urgent on-site interventions.
In short: We are your local IT partner on-site when needed, and your digital IT department in the cloud every single day.
